In the year 2000, Patrick and his father-in-law, Curtis, started a small family-owned excavating company called High Park Construction. This was a part time venture as both had full time jobs in road maintenance and construction. In 2014, we decided to go into excavating full time. Together we brought with us 70 years of combined experience in excavating, road construction, and road maintenance. At that time, we also changed the name to Currant Creek Partnership, also known as CCP. In 2017, Curtis decided that he wanted to back away from the everyday workload of excavating and road building. In doing this, he sold his half of the company to Patrick and his wife, Laurie. To this day Curtis and his wife, Linda, still enjoy working part time with us. In 2019, Currant Creek Partnership became the parent company of CCP Excavating, but we operate under both names to this day. The year of 2021 turned out to be a transition year for us. We had a marvelous addition to the family business when our son Gannon and his wife Alyssa joined the team. At the same time, we lost a great asset when our daughter, Makenna, left for college. From what started as a small part time venture so many years ago has, today, evolved into a company that has the resources and the knowledge to handle all your excavating and road construction needs. We are licensed for septic installation in Fremont, Park, and Teller Counties as well. No matter how much we have changed over the years we have held steadfast on two ideals, our family values, and the emphasis we place on customer satisfaction.
